Hard work goes unnoticed...
You know exactly what I am talking about! Have you ever driven past a really nice estate and what is the first thing you see? You see a nice home and odds are, with a clean cut lawn. But what about the garden in the back yard, or the careful trimming of the shrubs and flowers, or the amount of hours that went in to putting up that fence just right...
Now, think about your body for one moment. Often times, we work hard, try eating right, exercising regularly, yet we do not look like the magazine covers and billboards. But I am here to tell you that good work truly goes unnoticed. See, it takes us years and years to accumulate excess fat, poor standing posture and alignment problems. Therefore, logically it will take months to years for you to reverse these changes and attain better posture, weight and body tone. We all get so caught up in short term fixes and results that we forget that hard work goes unnoticed and can take years to shape our bodies and implement healthy lifestyle changes.
Now, hard work does not go unnoticed all of the time, just the majority of the time. Eventually, someone will take a notice of your estate, your garden in the back yard and your clean, well kept property. This is true for working out and eating well. Eventually, people will tell you that you look younger, healthier, happier and so on. But do not expect this overnight just as you would not expect your house and property to look overly impressive in its first few days of work. Spend time diligently doing unnoticed work because someday it will all pay off!
